React Frontend Engineer (senior | * | d | f | m)

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer with solid experience in React – someone who enjoys solving real problems, working in a supportive team, and building digital products that matter. No crunch time, no ego, just clean code and great collaboration.

About the role

You’ll build and maintain React-based frontends for scalable digital products – often in long-term client partnerships – and work alongside product owners, backend and AI engineers, and DevOps experts in agile, cross-functional teams.

What you’ll do as a React Software Engineer (* | d | f | m)

• Design and build component-based frontend architectures with React
• Optimize for performance, accessibility, and maintainability
• Collaborate with UI/UX, backend, AI, and DevOps engineers
• Improve tooling, CI/CD, i18n, DevEx, and API integration
• Work in agile teams with a strong product mindset

What you bring

• 2+ years of experience with React in production environments
• Strong understanding of modern frontend concepts (state management, hooks, component design)
• Agile mindset and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills in English and German (min. B2)
• Valid work permit and current residence in Germany
• Willingness to travel regularly to Southern Germany (client projects)

Bonus points for

• Frontend-focused profile with fullstack interest or experience
• Experience with Python, Go, or other backend languages
• GraphQL or REST API integration experience
• GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with OAuth2 / OpenID Connect
• Observability tools for frontend monitoring
